After Intramuros' third attempt to conquer the island of Manuvu through the use of Mechanical Soldiers, Governador General Carlos Emilio decided to revive the most prized military unit in the world – the Hidalgos, and undergo hellish training to overcome the mission of taking over the island. One of the new Hidalgo recruit, Antonio Malik, is the son of the Mayor of Intramuros. In the midst of the battle between the Hidalgos and the Manuvans, the Ilustrados' sinister plan to win the war emerged. This made Antonio see the glory and evil of the country that he serves.
