Blood Magic

Nothing good ever happens when my phone rings. I’m seriously considering installing a pigeon messenger service in my home. First call, a detective wants to investigate my necromancy. He’s with the Paranormal Crimes Division, and he’s not taking no for an answer. Second call, a mysterious woman threatens to render me cadaverous if I cooperate with the detective. Sheeeeet… What does a necromancer do when they’re backed into a corner? They practice some cold hard magic. It’s going to take a whole lot of it to get out of this one alive.
